Cooking around an allergy or a condition?
Every recipe is labelled for gluten, dairy, egg, nuts, vegan, no added sugar and low carb, and each label is checked against the ingredients. Tell us what you avoid once and we only show recipes that fit.
How it works
Every recipe starts with the ingredients and the method. There are no pop-ups, no adverts in the middle of the page and no long story before you get to the food.
Use the button at the top to show grams, cups or ounces. The oven temperature changes to match.
Each recipe shows roughly what it costs per person. Tick the ingredients you need and you can search for them at Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Ocado or Aldi.
Make a shopping list
Pick your supermarket. Each ingredient on your list gets a button that opens that shop's search for it. Supermarkets don't let other websites fill your basket, so you add the items yourself.
Questions people ask
Can I switch between grams, cups and ounces?
Yes. The switch at the top of every page changes all the measures and the oven temperatures. Metric shows grams, millilitres and degrees Celsius with the fan temperature. US shows cups and degrees Fahrenheit. Imperial shows ounces, pints and gas marks.
Does ForkedUp show what a recipe costs?
Yes. Every recipe shows a rough cost per portion worked out from Aldi and Tesco shelf prices checked in October 2026. Prices change and your shop will differ, so treat it as a guide, not a live price.
Can I add the ingredients to my supermarket basket?
Not directly, because supermarkets do not let other websites fill a basket. You tick the ingredients you need, choose Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Ocado or Aldi, and each item opens that shop's search for it.
Are the pictures real photos?
No. Dish pictures on ForkedUp are made with AI, so your own dish may look a little different. Where a recipe has no picture yet you will see a drawn plate.
Can I find a recipe from what is already in my fridge?
Yes. Add the ingredients you have and the recipes that use them move to the top, with a note of which of your ingredients each one uses.
