Questions
Is this suitable for children?
Yes, if you leave out the chilli flakes. The base itself is mild.
Can I use gluten free bread?
Yes. Swap in gluten free vegan bread, and check the baked beans label for a gluten free version.
Can I make a bigger batch?
Yes, double the quantities. It keeps for a day in the fridge, reheated until steaming hot.
