Method

  1. 1

Put everything in a large bowl and mix well with clean hands for a minute until sticky and even.

  2. 2

Divide into 8 and shape each into a patty about 2cm thick. Press a small dip in the middle with your thumb so they stay flat.

  3. 3

Put a square of baking paper between each burger and stack them in a freezer box or bag. Freeze for up to 3 months.

  4. 4

To cook from frozen, heat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Lay the burgers on a lined tray and bake for 25 minutes, turning once, until browned and cooked all the way through.
